Nadine's interests lie in the relationship between architecture, music, visual arts and contemporary dance/theatre. Each of these disciplines has influenced her work and process as an artist and performer. Architecture as a form that facilitates the understanding of three dimensionality has led her to consider the interior structure of the body as well as its relationship to the environment. The foundations of music theory have enabled her to understand the innate rhythms, dynamics, melodies, and so forth of the body in motion, dancing as well as vocalizing. Her process is deeply anchored in a musical expression through movement, sound and gesture. The visual arts have played an important role in her desire to go beyond the traditional facets of creation in theatre and dance, in order to seek out a process that resembles more and more that of performance art.
